Our first course is Slowing Chronic Kidney Disease Progression, which will help learners adopt patient-centered medication management strategies, assess kidney function for staging CKD and drug dosing, create care plans, and so much more. Take one or all 13 modules.

Black persons and health care providers whose practices are mainly comprised of Black persons with CKD will share their insights and possible solutions to phamaco-inequilities. We encourage you to take the course modules in order.

AKHOMM is working on the next two phases of curriculum which will cover symptom management for patients with CKD, drug dosing for various dialysis modalities, medication changes during transition to dialysis or kidney transplant and current therapies for glomerular diseases and lupus nephritis.
